Gavin comes from a dairy farming background. He has completed a B.Sc. in Spatial Planning and Environmental Management at Technological University Dublin and an M.Sc. in Environmental Forestry at Bangor University in Wales, UK. He has previous experience working in urban planning and development consultancy. Gavin’s strong interest in rural development, forestry, and the environment supports his work as a licensing forester, where he enjoys contributing to sustainable land use and forest management.
