Mark joined in January 2017 on the day it was inaugurated. Previously Mark had spent 35 with years with Woodfab Timber Ltd, where he worked in log procurement, identifying suitable stands of timber and managing the harvesting and haulage.  Since 2022 Mark has been involved in  Forest and estate management, on behalf of corporate clients , Investment and pension funds, .  This work is carried on in conjunction with the application/licencing ,the harvesting management and establishment divisions of the company .
